Task
Shoot a short dialogue film in the military fiction genre: two characters, five lines. Dawn after a night of fighting, smoke, orange and blue light, dust in the air. Humanoid two-legged combat robots, no tanks and no four-legged machines. All designs original, nothing resembling known franchises.
How we did it
- Frame. Krea 2 IntoRealism made the starting frame for each of the 12 shots, 3 min 38 s in all.
- Motion. LTX 2.5 animated 7 shots without lines.
- Speech and lips. MiniMax H3 made 5 shots with lines: the character speaks, the lips move in time. Video from both models together: 44 min 32 s.
- One voice. Seed-VC brought each character's lines to one voice.
- 1080p and grade. SeedVR2 brought the shots up to 1080p, ffmpeg added the grade, grain and subtitles.
No Unreal: the model generates the frames directly. Everything ran locally on one RTX 5090.
Result
A 61 s film of 12 shots in 1080p, with subtitles. The full version is on the studio's PC and will appear on the portal later. Here are 2 clips of about 5 seconds, muted.
The film's lines
VossAll units, this is Command. The line holds here, or nowhere.
RheaCopy, Command. Iron Seven is ready.
VossRhea, their lead walker is twice your size. Don't be a hero.
RheaHeroes are just pilots who didn't wait for permission.
RheaCommand... the walker is down. We're still here.
